My Works

Here is some of my projects I have worked on

La France

La France

LaFrance is a fashion antique thrift store that specializes in high quality vintage clothing. Designing the rebrand, I made sure to capture that essence in making the logo resemble it to newer more high class fashion companies with serif typefaces that have thin weights to provide elegance and professionalism to represent the brand. LaFrance has many high quality articles of clothing, so making sure that people understand it is not like a regular thrift store and separates itself from that was of utmost importance.

Urban Nomad

Urban Nomad

Urban Nomad is a subscription box based company that specializes in promoting public transit through a variety of different packages from transit diecasts, stands, maps, posters, and collective pins. The line work throughout the design is to resemble transit lines and different transit methods. These include train, metro, ferry, bus, and so on. The lines are represented in an idealization in how most standard transit lines operate, while the inside plays on that and is a more abstract rendition of the lines.

Red Rocks Rally

Red Rocks Rally

Red Rocks Rally is a festival design that focuses on combining car enthusiasts of all varieties together. The design was to feature multiple different groups of car racing and entertainment all under one roof. Main elements of the design were structure, photography and color. The use of visual and typographic logos together help to connect the brand. The photography gives an energy throughout the designs that can excite viewers wanting more. The color is to provide ease of understanding each event from one another whilst also providing vibrant visual elements to entertain the audience.

Typographic Elements Guide

Typographic Elements Guide

The Typographic Elements Guide book is a publication I created to help fellow designers and myself understand the elements that go into typography. The book features over 50 pages of different parts of individual letterforms and type as a unit. The book separates these two sections to help with simple to read text to help explain what each is.The use of color helps distinguish anatomy of type from elements of type.Patterns in the background of each provide a subtle but interesting visual to captivate the reader whilst looking at the visual elements on each page.

100 Most deadly shootings infographic

100 Most deadly shootings infographic

100 of the deadliest shootings in America was an information poster I designed to highlight the ever-growing issue of gun violence in the USA. The data that was used highlighted the past decade with categories such as: people killed, people injured, majority age range affected, state, building and lastly the headline from a news article talking about the subject. The challenge for this project was describing the data without being insensitive or hurtful in my message and I believe it helped immensely in taking that into consideration while designing.

New American Book Collection

New American Book Collection

The New American Library book collection is a restyling of older, iconic books, all under one umbrella. The design of the collection is to show consistency across multiple different titles and versions. The design was to cultivate a newer, younger audience to read the books. For my concept, I strived to emphasize composition and color with a strong use of photography. Each cover would have a photo from a famous photographer of the 1900’s that captivates the story of the book. The color that would be used for the cover would resemble one of the most bold colors in that photograph. The composition all together would grab the viewer's attention.

University Press Print: March Edition

University Press Print: March Edition

The University Press march print was a special issue that focused on the Florida Atlantic University's basketball team as they were in the spotlight, making it to March Madness, which has only been accomplished in the past 20 years. The design involved talking to a group of writers and editors to create a editorial print that engages the student body of Florida Atlantic University whilst also creating visual interest to keep the viewer holding onto the print for the length of the basketball tournament.

Town n' Crunchy

Town n' Crunchy

Town N Crunchy is an app designed to provide users with information on local restaurants in their area. The app's simple buttons make it easy for users to navigate and access on-the-go. The design goal was to create a visually pleasing app that guides users through a journey of local flavors, with a powerful color scheme and a strong emphasis on key elements that engage users and allow them to find better, more specific restaurants to their liking.
